14 Packing, Assembly and Warehouse Jobs Hiring in Brampton and Mississauga for the Holiday Rush (2026)

14 Packing, Assembly and Warehouse Jobs Hiring in Brampton and Mississauga for the Holiday Rush (2026)

Quick answer: the 14 packing, assembly and warehouse jobs hiring in Brampton and Mississauga in October 2026 are general labour, shipper-receiver, inventory, assembly, machine operator, material handler, picker-packer and walkie operator roles at TJX, Canadian Hospital Specialties, Van der Graaf, Maple Lodge Farms, Career1, Daybar Industries, Dexterra, Drive Products, Reizt and several agency-posted clients. Listed pay runs from $18 to $27 an hour, and the Job Bank Toronto Region median is $18.70 for packaging line workers and $21.00 for material handlers. Overtime starts after 44 hours in a week.

Brampton and Mississauga are home to a dense cluster of warehouses and plants, and October is when Q4 postings start to fill. We read live listings on agency sites and job boards in October 2026 and found a clear pattern: general labour, assembly, picker-packer and material-handler roles at roughly $18 to $24 an hour, many with day shifts, and a few permanent roles that can outlast the season.

An important honesty note: none of the listings we found was labelled a holiday kitting or gift-set job, and the only kitting-titled posting was a management role. These are packing, assembly and warehouse jobs in the Q4 ramp, so the title says that. Job boards show dates loosely, and some listings may be filled by the time you read this. Pay is quoted as listed, and anything below $17.95 predates the October 1, 2026 minimum wage increase to $17.95.

What’s in This Guide

How We Built This List

We read staffing agency job boards for Mississauga, Indeed searches for Brampton packaging and picking roles, and Glassdoor searches for Brampton warehouse packer roles, and kept named employers or agencies with a Brampton or Mississauga location. We did not open individual employer postings or career pages, so we could not confirm requirements or application steps, and we do not name employers such as Amazon, Canadian Tire, Loblaw or Walmart as hiring in Brampton, because we could not verify specific roles. Use the linked search pages to find the current version of each listing.

Another showed general labour pickers in Brampton at $18.40 to $19.00. Your Rights as a Seasonal Warehouse or Packing Worker in Ontario

Minimum wage. The general minimum wage is $17.95 an hour from October 1, 2026. If a listing shows $17.60, ask for the current rate.

Overtime. Under the ESA overtime rules, overtime applies after 44 hours in a work week at 1.5 times your regular rate. Worked example: at $19.00 an hour, 48 hours earns 44 x $19.00 = $836 plus 4 x $28.50 = $114, a total of $950.

Public holidays. Christmas Day and Boxing Day are two of nine public holidays. Holiday pay is regular wages plus vacation pay in the four work weeks before the holiday week, divided by 20. If you agree to work, you choose either holiday pay plus 1.5 times for hours worked, or regular wages plus a substitute day off with holiday pay.

Agency workers. The ESA guide says an agency cannot charge you fees to become an employee, be assigned work or get resume and interview help.
