We started it because the employers we spoke to were exhausted. Exhausted by agencies that took the order, posted a job, and hoped for the best. Exhausted by workers who arrived on site without any preparation, any verification, or any understanding of what the role actually involved. Exhausted by compliance documentation that was either missing, incomplete, or assembled in a panic when an auditor arrived.
The staffing industry had been running on the same model for decades. A phone call. A resume. A handshake. It worked when the labour market was simple and compliance requirements were light. It stopped working a long time ago. The industry just had not caught up.
The founding team at Trimax had spent years inside that model, placing workers, managing accounts, and watching the same problems surface over and over. The no-shows. The credential gaps. The workers who were not suited for the role but were sent anyway because the agency needed to fill the order. The employers who absorbed the cost of every one of these failures without a meaningful alternative.
