SITUATION
A federally regulated Crown corporation was undertaking a $47M ERP modernization to replace a 40-year-old
legacy system. The program required SAP architects, change management leads, data migration specialists, and
QA engineers, all bilingual and all holding active government security clearances. The internal HR team had no
established pipeline for this kind of talent, and an 18-month hard deadline set by the Board left no room for a slow start.
SOLUTION
Trimax deployed a bilingual IT talent desk with a pre-screened pool of candidates holding active government
security clearances. Security clearance statuses, signed NDAs, professional certifications, and onboarding
documentation for all 63 hires were centralized in our proprietary compliance platform, giving the Crown
corporation’s security and procurement teams a single auditable record throughout the program. A dedicated
project resourcing coordinator was embedded on-site to manage backfills, continuity risks, and phase transitions
as the program moved from discovery through to go-live.
OUTCOME
All 63 roles were filled within 30 days of engagement. The ERP program completed go-live three weeks ahead of
the 18-month deadline. Not a single project milestone was delayed due to a staffing gap across the full program
lifecycle.
“The complexity of our compliance requirements made this a hard mandate to resource. They
made it look effortless.”
